I made this video in August, after feeling a lack of creativity this past summer and an intense desire to try rotoscoping. first rotoscope ever. and yes i went frame by frame... i think it ended up being over 400 frames. it took about two weeks working about 8 days at 6 hours a day... that's... what 48 hrs... well i guess that's not too bad. my friend Charlotte spent 96 hrs. on a 9 sec. rotoscope once. that's crazy!

Gorgeous and interesting... I love the mixture of animation and live action. Hard to blend, but you did it purposefully here. Sweet!!! You're rocking the vlogosphere!
when's waking life 2 coming out? ;)

I really enjoyed this, you'd like some of my photo cartoons, I basically edit pics and create satire/within them. Check 'em out sometime: http://iowa.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2069206&id=14815224&l=1cdf9. or
http://iowa.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2077565&id=14815224&op=10&l=ccd89. I'm always producing something every chance I get, it's that sleepless creativity that I have to release, whenever I see something goin' on, I write it down, document it, until I can put it to screen or pic.
Stop the presses. I think we know who started the gargantuan fire in southern California. Excellent roto work, mika. Keep it up. Very Waking Life-like.
